Falcon Housing Association is excited to share news about the government’s latest initiative aimed at enhancing the standards within the social housing sector. The government is currently embarking on a consultation process for the implementation of a proposed Competence and Conduct Standard, and we want to ensure you’re well-informed about its potential impact.
Currently under consultation are proposals for the implementation of a fresh regulatory standard specifically targeting the competence and conduct of staff working in social housing. This proposed standard is set to mandate that senior managers and executives possess or are actively pursuing a pertinent qualification, ensuring that they are equipped with the necessary skills, knowledge, and experience. Additionally, it will emphasise the importance of displaying appropriate behaviours to deliver exceptional, professional service and treat residents with the utmost respect. This initiative signifies a pivotal step towards maintaining high-quality standards and fostering positive relationships within our communities.
At Falcon Housing Association, we believe in delivering exceptional service and maintaining the highest standards of professionalism. That’s why we’re excited about this proposed standard, which aims to raise the bar for competence and conduct within the social housing sector.
We believe that the implementation of this standard will not only enhance the quality of service provided by housing associations but also foster stronger relationships within our communities. By prioritising competence and conduct, we can better meet the needs of our residents and create a more positive living environment for all.
As we move forward, Falcon Housing Association is committed to supporting initiatives that promote professionalism and excellence in social housing. Click here to learn more about the competence and conduct standard for social housing consultation.
