Are you an experienced Income Manager looking for a new opportunity?

Falcon Housing Association C.I.C is excited to announce that we are recruiting for a dynamic, performance driven Income Manager to lead on a national portfolio of properties within our busy and growing organisation.

This is a demanding role and to be successful the right candidate needs to be highly organised, performance driven to achieve exceptional results, be flexible in their approach, a great communicator and a natural solution finder.

You will ideally have a proven track record in Income Management within the Housing Sector or be in a similar role or field with a minimum of 3 years Income Management experience.

With the bonus of working remotely, and team catch up’s within our head off in Seaham, you will lead and be part of a team responsible for the provision of an exceptional Income Management service which puts tenants at the heart of what we do.

You will be responsible for all areas of Income Management and maximisation, taking prompt and appropriate action to ensure income streams remain fully operational.

This post will also ensure that all matters in relation to Housing Benefit, Rent / Service Charge & Income are managed and monitored effectively minimising any negative financial impact/hardship to our tenant(s).

Key Tasks

  • Prioritisation of income maximisation and avoidance of loss of income by utilising the organisations processes, procedures and Housing Management System.
  • Liaise with various local authorities, overseeing all aspects of the Housing Benefit process including management of Local Authority portals.
  • Lead on the preparation, submission and presentation of all appeals and tribunals.
  • Preparation and management of annual rent and service charge reviews. This includes  ensuring Standing Order payments are increased for self-funders in a timely manner, minimising any lost income.
  • Lead on all invoicing to external partners and self-funding tenants.
  • The production of Income management performance statistics, and information related to KPI’s.
  • Ensuring collaborative working with Finance and Operations, taking an active lead to develop relationships to ensure that service delivery complies with policies and procedures.
  • Ability to work effectively, self-motivated with minimum direct supervision, maintaining accurate, clear and organised I.T. and file records.
