Our Impact On The Independence Of Vulnerable Adults

18th November 2022

As a housing association working within the specialist supported housing sector throughout England, FHA wants to help as many vulnerable people as possible to live in a safe, supportive and independent environment – whatever this looks like to them. FHA specialises in helping vulnerable adults find long term solutions and a place they can truly call home.

Today, we’re looking at ways FHA positively impacts the lives of vulnerable people, and guide those who may need further support towards our dedicated team.

1. Happy vulnerable adults in happy homes

This is really what underpins FHA’s entire ethos. FHA want all our tenants to feel happy; supported; independent; and in an environment that works for them. Health, wellbeing and happiness are very important to FHA, so we offer the highest quality accommodation and support.

2. Strong partnerships

FHA couldn’t do our incredible work without the many people who work alongside us. This includes the regulator of social housing (RSH), local authorities; care providers; professional consultants; maintenance team; and more. Together, we can define what support our tenants need, put the right housing in place and tailor the care they need to achieve that independence.

3. Long-term homes for vulnerable adults

To feel secure, safe and supported, our tenants need a place that meets their needs and can be theirs in the long term. Not only do FHA provide high-quality housing that offers exactly this, but we constantly emphasise the importance of specialist supported housing within our sector.

4. A passion for care

Much of what Falcon Housing Association does is driven by a real passion, enthusiasm and commitment to high-quality care. Whether it’s adapted accommodation to meet specific needs, regular contact to help with daily tasks or building a sense of community where our tenants live.

5. A focus on the future

Falcon Housing Association knows it’s not enough to look at where things are now but to really get a sense of where things are going in the future. This helps FHA ensure we continue to meet our tenants’ needs and support them and their families.
